CBS MTB - Kona Paint?

Can anyone shed light on the paint on this bike? Looks like a Kona custom job to me.

Yes would say custom job. Never seen one like that unless it’s a special edition I’m not aware ofn

The Art Dept / Art Tyler painted many custom paint jobs on Kona frames (usually Explosifs) in the late 80's / early 90's, and also painted for Brodie.



They usually have the signature seen on your frame, or the sticker above (and in @raidan73 's thread here).
