There’s lots to do…but here it is in all its Frankenstein glory.

Wow, proper mix of bits but I am sure you’ll get it how it should be, I’m intrigued as to how the Seatpost is clamped?

Are there any bits you haven’t found yet to get it back to her spec?

Cant wait for updates on this build👌

It’s a challenge alright. The seatpost clamp is a ‘ZipLock’. Recalled as it wasn’t the best. I don’t know much more than that. The post moves a little so that needs attention aswell. Not a surprise really.

Some bits will eventually be on the way although I’ve got to say that old Grafton brakes are tricky to dial in. How she was winning races pre v brake I have no idea. 😬

I’ve already sourced some easy to find parts and photos of all components in their entirety to follow.

BB bearings will definitely need to be replaced to save any damage in that area.

Wheels - ah, the wheels. Hard to ID from photos I have access to currently. I’m sure they’re Sun rims and Ringle and that wouldn’t be inaccurate for the sponsorship and period. Thing is, I’ve got several sets of ateks which I really want to use but if it ain’t right I suppose I can’t.

The searches continue.

I’ve had a play with the Pulse. So much wrong with it, as expected - broken Moby in 2 places, knackered cable guide entry points, no cable guides plastic straw thingies amongst other things. But it’s already looking a little better having removed the DH stem and Pace forks. As I say, onward in the journey which is far from complete. For Caz.
