carbon forks and steerer on gravel bike advice please

Hi
I have a gravel bike with carbon fork and steerer. The stem has fibre grip on and the bike is mainly used as a winter ride so not over used.Question is should I strip it every year for a check over or is it best left. Obviously if the bike is crashed then yes it would be stripped. Advice please

You need to strip, clean and reassemble metal parts due to the risk of corrosion.
Steel to aluminium in particular.
Aluminium to carbon can get nasty too.

With carbon to carbon, as you've used the right product, you can leave well alone👍

Problems occur when zealous owners use a lubricant that softens the epoxy 🤯
