Canti pad set up - what tricks do you use?

No toe in required. Great feel at the bar. Stoppies at 20mph.
Interesting comment , with one exception all the cantilever brakes I have come across have had a small

amount of play at the brake pivot . However the Suntour/Pedersen Self Energiser brake ( shown above ) in both it's front

and rear versions does not depend on the brake pivot to guide rotation . Instead the internal helix guide of the brake is

rigidly bolted to the brake pivot completely eliminating this as a source of trouble . And because the matching internal helix

of the brake arm is such a good fit there is no appreciable slop or play felt at the brake block

The prime reason for brake pad ' toe in ' is to compensate for the movement of the brake block under load .

If the brake block is presented rigidly to the rim there is no need for ' toe in ' as demonstrated here
