Canti pad set up - what tricks do you use?

Thos who ride 2.3 tires and regularly pull their wheels off the bike for any reason have met the flaw of v brakes: lack of clearance. Cantis don´t have this problem.
Also avid v brake pads are nasty against rims. i hav lost more than on beautifull mavic rim to the grinding compound of those avid v brakes.
Well set cantis give me power and modulation.
Unless it´s raining on a cold day. Then it´s discs or leave cycling alone.

Elastic band around the pads to set the toe, wind the barrel adjuster out 2 full turns and tighten everything tight to the rim, then unwind it and give it a very good squeeze.
