Hi all,
I've got a Cannodale 89/90 MTB (unsure which model, S/N 18011089022) which has a rear shimano exage U-brake that I find to be very ineffective. I was contemplating replacing it with a V-brake but having taken U-brake off I see that the brake boss is incompatible with a V-brake as it doesn't have the little hole that V-brakes require. The bosses are screwed in so it is possible to replace them; is it possible to get replacement bosses to run a V-brake?
If not, any tips on adjusting U-brakes
Cheers,
