To me, yes, because it is no longer the complete bike as it was originally put together. If that's not being sold to ride, why replace the saddle? "As found" condition allows the buyer to make those decisions. If it were to be replaced, and the original kept with it, I suppose it could be put back in place and no one would be any wiser.Do you think the rules of NOS would make these worth less if you replaced the broken saddles?

So does ‘usedish’ mean the same as ‘modish’?To be fair to the seller, 'NOSish' is a pretty fair and honest description of that chain set: not NOS but close to NOS. The description explains that it's been pulled from a show bike so at least the seller isn't trying to mislead buyers by claiming, as others might have done, that it's an NOS item.
