Can anyone recommend me a saddle !!

Managed to get out for my first real ride today, the problem now is im walking like John Wayne from using my M-TRAX standard saddle :cry:

So as subject can anyone recommend me a saddle with a little more comfort ideally for under £30 ??

It's not the saddle it's your arse. DON'T ride tomorrow, let yer bum recover. Ride again soon and feel a little less pain then don't ride the day after. Repeat this exercise until your beef curtains no longer glow in the dark. Once there, with a fine set of bike-seasoned cheeks THEN go looking for a saddle.

I swear by these Specialized Body Geometry saddles.

The groove down the middle means that the 'plumbing' between your sack and your crack doesn't get squashed when you ride.

I've a very cumfy spare Selle Italia touring saddle in leather, slotted and more padding than Hannibal Lecter's cell!

I still swear by the old Flite. If you can get on with them they're the comfiest thing about.

Look for one that's been slightly used and you'll find that it's already been broken in sotospeak. You'll still have to do a little work though. :shock:

Should easily be able to get a decent one off here for £30 or below.

I don't find Flite's uncomfortable and use them on most bikes. But Charge Spoon's are the comfiest saddle I've used, almost too comfy
