Looks a bit like a Falcon. What's the seat post size? Any brazed on cable guides?

Sorry about the photo quality. My 80 year old Dad took the photos on his phone.The bike will be in my possession in a weekish so i will add better quality photos. The low serial suggested to me it's not a common large scale manufacturer? . .

Based on the seatstay cap design, I would venture that it is a Dawes Galaxy. See here:

Firstly the picture quality is not clear. You should take the picture again then upload again. But one thing I tell you this is not an ordinary bike.

Is the 'BH' on the bottom bracket a postcode? Or could it stand for 'Barry Hoban', a range of bikes produced by British Eagle?
