The classic Lloyd paint job:

Yes - a bit like this one:

I'd love to have got that for 200 quid! Anyone on here BTW?

If you look carefully at my entry in 'potm' .........

Lloyd-Cave005.jpg

Not for £200 though :( the seller had a lot of interest and despite my best efforts decided he should put it on ebay to be fair; so cost me a bit more  It's now 'in-cave' and awaiting parts etc.

Good thread btw :)

...... .

Am i seeing things.......

Is that what i think it is............................................???

Love the Dave LLoyd with the dropped top tube- there is another nice one on the site too. I think the Hardisty bikes was made by Kevin Winter?

Someone needs to add some photos of a Smart Tart to this thread.

I shall get mine up when I have more time on my hands.

Another one from the 'British' part of the 'collection'.

I'll also put up a scan of the review from MBi showing the metallic purple test bike.

Would be cool if Andy could convince his mate to do likewise with pics of hers...

Other than the test bike and my own, I have never seen another [knowingly] and from the horses mouth less than 10 were made in total, with two different versions - one made with 531 tubing, and one from Columbus tubing.

Cheers,
BB.

Great buy Wadsy - glad someone on here got it - looking forward to pics of the finished bike! :D The paint is fantastic but impossible to replicate well I would imagine.

Thanks for posting your bikes Carl - great examples of UK steel :D Question on your pink prestige - did you trim the mounts off of the rear drop outs or were they like that originaly?

I've never seen those pics of JMCs Hardisty bike before - what a sorted looking frame. Was this his ride between Salsa and Specialised then? The seat clamp is very neat isn't it? I wonder why there aren't more like that around.
