Breezer clone project

I’ve been riding my quarantine project. It’s really only a heavy road bicycle as all they had was road gearing, which was considered low. I used almost all original parts including the tire pattern. I used Suzie sealed hubs instead of Phil Wood, that’s about it. Original grunty gearing. This fall I’m building a set of wheels for it with steel rims. As I understand it, they originally had steel rims but stopped so poorly, especially in the wet, that pretty much everyone replaced steel with alloy. I can’t believe haw far mountain biking design has come. This bike is only good for going downhill and for gravel riding.
Steel rim I’m workin on. I made a lacing mistake on this front wheel so I have to take it apart and start over, dang.
