I’ve not done much on here apart from sell a few things, but I acquired this as part of a collection and thought I would document the build.

It’s getting there, just a case of finding the time to finish it off so it can be ridden this summer

A couple more pics before it’s pieced together. MRC forks are amazing, hardly a scratch on them and work well . Bullseye cranks are pretty special, felt like the right thing for the bike instead of selling them.

wooooww super early race lite! in @slackboy's favorite color. Where'd you get the frame? I think those cranks are a bit early for the frame but they'll be cool as hell with that frame and fork which are also cool as hell.

Yes. That's the dream bike for me right there - a very early race lite in purple and a proper size too.

But even then, I'm not sure if id rather have the bike or the workshop

@Carge has a smaller version of the same frame so his build might have some inspiration for you.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. This frame/fork came as part of a collection i bought end last year. The collection is quite mixed with 90's hardtails and full sus complete biles and this frame was begging to be built up. I knew it was early but wasn't 100% sure on its age as I'm more of a Kona fan, glad to hear its a really early one.

@slackboy thanks for the link to the smaller one, I will take a look. The workshop isn't mine but it is my go to place for all the stuff I can't do and conveniently run by a really good mate in Bristol.

Its almost complete so I will grab some more pics over the weekend. I also have another one, fully built, same size and also pretty early I reckon. Will share a pic of that one too.
