Could never afford a new Serotta, but second hand now fairly affordable

DeVinci Bikes out of Quebec, Canada. They own the aluminum mine so everythingis produced right at home, the bike factory is right across the road from the mine. Very popular with French Canadians, some quality stuff over the years along with a ton of hybrids


There was also some really wild and hardcore prototype stuff, this was trotted out at Crankworx a couple of decades ago. I think thats a tank for Shimano's short lived air shifting system.
They're still doing it today too, bikes that work for Quebec's rough stuff

They also made a really nice line of bikes under the name Eclipse, sold exclusively at Pecco's bike shop in Ottawa, including toad bikes, but that information has become really tough to find. A lot of forum posts got deleted due to a "shilling" operation. I can't find any pictures, but I want one of the Pecco's bikes

Medici bicycles in Southern California was a “spin off” from Masi USA. Bill Recht of Long Island, NY, was the original owner and also was involved with Masi. Gian Simonetti and Mike Howard left Masi to build the brand. Later the brand morphed into “Simonetti”.
