Found a fella selling a full bike with the same frame, stated it was a 1993, came specced with XT components

Yes they were xt specced. What size was that one?

Obviously fella could be pulling year out of his arse but I reckon 93 or 94 makes sense with tubeset, components. Personally I thought 95 at first.

The blue tyres are a bit too much, but I know I’m too late for any of this, those blue walled tyres looked way better. The thing with colour coding is that if you want to colour code, then it’s subtle or extreme no in between.

Lovely build though, great find, I expect as good from the ti frame.

I'm quite happy with it as is, a part of me wishes I gave the blue tyres a go for longer.

That said I'm intending to colour match with wheel skewers and a seat clamp in subtle blue and purple to match the decals. Maybe. We will see. I'm not a bike tart
