Bikes and the other half... what does she think?

My wife told me she'd leave me if i bought another bike.

I'll miss her.

She's not too bad actually. She doesn't like my daily rider being in the kitchen so regularly find it in the garden but i bring it in at night. Fair enough i purpose.

Most annoying thing is she thinks i spend a holly fortune on them and brings it up sometimes but the reality is i usually have to sell stuff in order to buy stuff.

She rides her cruiser but refuses to go off road after the 'bush incident'

wifey saw me running out of space in my huge double garage ,thats full
of motorcycles and machine tools so she ordered me a 14'x7' shed for my bicycles and related quality items

she's a wonderful woman

need a bigger shed now tho

thought we were talking about bikes here and not merkins.....

mine is fine - she i used to me hording stuff...... shotguns, games consoles, land rover parts, bikes.... (again, after getting rid of my last lot about 9 years ago for next to nothing as i wanted something modern.... bit gutted really as there was a fair bit of decent retro stuff on there and modern bikes just don't have the same character!)

she seems to collect purses, handbags and clothes she never wears so its swings and roundabouts really!

Typical! Maybe she'll get used to it.
If there is a glimmer of interest in Biking, encourage it! .
She's quite into it.. we both need to get out more, make time for cycling, and get some fitness up.. then I'll take her up the singletrack and she'll open her eyes fully ;)

I really just need to alter the gearing on hers slightly and I'm sure it'll be fine. But trying to find the ring for the front (what with being a pauper and all) isn't easy...

Mrs Murf has been out biking a few times and was getting half decent but she hasn't been out for ages, shopping gets in the way!
She's never complained about my bikes or me going away biking and i dont mention the 50 odd pairs of shoes she owns...and keeps adding to!
