Love this thread. So great to see so much history remaining in situ. It still boggles my mind how many airfield sites we have that haven't had housing built on yet. Some have a few industrial units, or are used for motorsport, but loads haven't even had that happen.

I always rode with my kids to explore here about 15 years ago. With the eldest back for the weekend it was a chance to ride out and revisit it.

Couldn’t get any closer to this one, as I was the wrong side of the fence at Goodwood Aerodrome. Phone camera at full zoom. It’s a bit different to the usual pillboxes locally as it’s circular.
