bike related comedy fails i've seen!

Forks backward, backwards bb (in the days of cartridge square taper), headset cups upside down, chains run backwards though derailleur, chains with a loop in, wheel won't fit (squished the brake lever on a disc brake). The list of what the fricks is almost endless for the poor guy in the back room at the bike shop.

The concrete is a nice touch.

Knitwear for bicycles. Definitely a WTF moment. But a fail? I see this bike around quite a lot and, four years after this photo was taken, the knitwear is still going strong. Besides, to work out whether it's a fail, I'd first have to work out what the purpose is.

It is a skirt guard.

Exactly that, normally they are formed of a string looped through a frame. Fitted a few in my time.

Very common on Dutch bicycles. Usually in plastic, this is some very nice home made example
