Ah....the memories of that '89 Freewheel Catalogue! - The top of the tree was the fillet brazed 605 SIS.
The 604 SIS was next with Tange Prestige tubing and a full Shimano M730/732 XT group set. More info in the build thread here -

Here's another new arrival in the boy"O"boy collection. I've lusted after one of these since 1989 after reading the Freewheel catalogue from that year over and over again. For me, there were several standout bikes in there....The Kestrel MXZ, near the back of the Catalogue - The Pace RC100, but...

this is an 18" ritchey with 24" wheels.

Pretty similar story as Tomianson´s: picked up this bike almost as I show it here. Didn´t do much more than putting the Smokes and the H2O cage on it.
