its fair to say that I am excited about this build. I’ve had the pleasure of owning a Serotta T Max and a 1991 Scott Pro Racing and Max frames are great to ride but a few reviews that I’ve read suggest that the Moda might be even better. I have missed out on a few of these over the years but...

Here’s my entry if I’m allowed to enter this. I’ve only been here on Retro Bike less that 2 weeks. I’m new here, still.
This my only MTB. It’s a 1998 Ibis Bow-Ti built with XTR 9spd. The fork is a WC Team Issue SID Carbon Black Box w/thumb lockout.
Cranks are the original Sweet Wings, Wheels were built up w/Chris King hubs, Bontrager Race Lite rims, tie dyed titanium spokes, Michelin green Wild Gripper tires. Flite Ti saddle and Syncros Ti seat pin.
I’m really a roadie, but I do ride this pretty regularly.

Nice but this BOTM is for bikes up to and including 1997. You need to stick your Ibis into the less frequent, but often well supported, 1998 BOTM.

Ooops, my mistake for posting in the wrong year.

After additional research see post #63 in this thread. My Ibis was new to me in 1998, but was available in 1997.

Off I go again... I said after the Fat Chance I wouldn't build another then a very scabby FRS popped up local and I couldn't help myself. Be warned if you like catalogue bike restorations this is not one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
