BoTM Bike of The Month August 2024 "USA Special" - now taking entries

Bike of The Month
YOO ESS EEYY YOO ESS EEYY

Since it was made in Murica i'll drop it in.
Spankyfarts 1991 Cannondale 1MB, legend has it this was made from the last unobtainium.
Buildlog, I guess this has to do.

All parts are original bar the chain and grips.
Fairly sure this was repainted professionally at some point as the original was whitish grey? There is zero information on this Campa/Cannondale apart from an obscure partslist picture.

Only issued in Europe & pictured in the French 1991 catalogue

I didn't know this BoTM thing was so exciting.
The display of incredible bicycles on display is incredible. Furthermore, they all have that special something that each of those who have made them contribute.
If I did not get to present my Zaskar, it is likely that I would not have seen it and I would have missed a lot of "jewels" that I had not been able to see at the time because it was quite new here.
Good initiative, beyond the competition itself there is the dissemination of our bicycles, of our history
Bravo
