Just spent a week testing out my new roof rack, driving round Scotland riding Glentress / Inner / Fort Bill etc. By the end of the week there was more bug guts splattered on the bikes than paint. I saw someone driving down the other side of the motorway with these lyrca covers stretching over the forks, bars and saddle of their bikes - pretty good idea I thought, but try as I might, I can't find out where to get my paws on some locally.
Apparently these things are called "bike bras" or some such, which I always thought referred to something a little more exciting than bug guards. Anyways, the only ones I can find are on the Colorado Cyclist website, which isn't all that convenient for me, being London based. Does anyone have thoughts about a UK equivalent or failing that, a half decent bodge?
