Bianchi NTH Reparto Corse Columbus Genius 1996

Thanks to @RetroRider_IT Marco I now have this 1996 Bianchi Reparto Corse Project NTH in Celeste.

I’ve yet to unpack the box as awaiting some parts before I put it together

It’s the same frame as on this 1996 catalogue - top right Columbus Genius model. (My other is the Team Titanio Megatube frame in Martini Racing livery)
1256g in weight!

It’s a beauty and totally original with the matching Genius forks.

It also has the ITM Celeste Ahead stem.

I’ve also bought a set of FRM CU2 cranks
And will be replacing the Diatech headset with a silver 1” FRM.
And just in case - a silver 130mm FRM Webstem

A silver FRM Sestpost is on its way

And some FRM canti Levers on the way and a pair of Mavic X225 black Sup rims laced onto FRM Carbon hubs with a 9sp Ti cassette - I’ll be looking for either Bianchi or FRM skewers !

And a 3TTT Titanium Handlebar

I’ll be adding the 9sp Sachs Mars rear mech and Sachs Quarz front mech

Currently looking for some FRM Cantilevers or failing that M900 or Campagnolo Record OR.

Tyres will be amber/tan walls - likely IRC Mythos XC or a similar lightweight tyre

Choosing Shifters will be a problem

Will update later this month when I have all the parts together.

This is going to be a sweet and a good FRM companion to my Martini Racing

How is the sizing? looks bigger than your other frames.

It’s approx 17.5” perhaps a fraction over (size is in cm and I remember converting to inches) about the same size as the Venturi I think.
If it’s too big I’ll have to sell it! Not something I’d want to do but we’ll see when I build and then ride it.

It should do. The Venturi I had was sub 10kg (as is the other Bianchi I have) this should be lighter! But we shall see!!!!

Wow! That frame/fork is stunning

Somehow I've not noticed FRM components before, some very nice looking stuff. The build plan looks very cool, looking forward to the next update
