Best way to polish crank arms??

Yeah, I defo wouldn't try any automated method in the house ...

We have laminate at home so I sit on the floor with a small pyrex dish and a old towel under it / across my legs :D

The laminate survives well, closest call was dismantling the proflex shock ...

WD :D

Make that 5 :p ;)

All this polishing looks fantastic but aluminium oxidises very quickly (white powdery substance), even more quickly when exposed outdoors. How long are these parts looking good for? Surely you should be considering clear anodisation to preserve that nice finish?

I have a set of xtr m900 chainset and it is dull and heel rub, so want to get them back up looking nice.

So how is best to do this?? i have a tube of autosol to use, so any tips ??
Clockwise, always clockwise. Wax on, Wax off.

Good point once i do this polishing, how long will it last???

Sell dull cranks to OCD member, let them do all the work - buy them back when their OCD gets the better of them and they are carted away.
