Early 90's Rocky Mountains always do it for me :D

I always like the mid-90's Vertex and Altittude. Not sure how they were priced elsewhere but in Canada they were awesome value for the money. Great frames and full Race Face/Syncros kit.

Re:

Anything Rocky Mountain over here in the UK was f-ing expensive. Still there where few corners cut on the hardware attached to the frames unlike some other brands... Looking at you Kona ;-)

Re:

My pick was Merlin because it was a normal production bike, but obviously very expensive and not exactly easy to get ahold of.

So I will revise my pick and say Kona, just about any Kona really. They always seemed to be speced well above the price point, have good looks, and still have the cool factor of a smaller brand.

Bridgestone is another brand that gave you more bang for the buck.

Limited production & stratosphere pricing doesnt really make a bike count as that limits availability at time of release and later on.

Just having fun with the original question which said nothing about cost, availability, or pricing. I am sure there are some frames in this thread posted that were more expensive bitd, and I am guessing some that were made in smaller numbers (guessing, absolutely no documentation on that) but you can't take away the fact that the Phoenix was a production frame.

:p

Ride On.
