J jamabikes Old School Grand Master Feedback View Sep 5, 2011 #4 for power hayes hfx 4's are the best i've found. bb7's are just a nadge less powerful but much more smooth and adjustable.

orange71 Retrobike Rider Gold Trader Feedback View Sep 5, 2011 #5 my only experience is BB7s - but very happy with them
M michael franks Retrobike Rider Feedback View Sep 5, 2011 #6 Like orange71 I've only used BB7s and I'm very happy with them. I use SD7 levers with them and 160mm rotors front and rear. Might try a 180mm rotor on the front just to see what difference it makes
