Bent axle

boggy

Retro Guru
bent my rear axel hitting a bump.

I have searched online but can’t seem to find anywhere that does a rear QR axel to fit my 120mm drop outs. I guess the spindle would sit at 126 sitting on the outside of the dropouts.

They are the original maillard QR

Any ideas where I could go ?

As long as the thread is correct (pitch/diameter) and goes far enough along the axle, you can cut any length down to size. Just be careful with cleaning up the threads where you've made the cut. (I've cut a 135 down to fit a 126 before now and respaced the hub. Many many years ago!)

It's best to thread on an old cone or locknut before cutting - by removing it you will clean the thread up.

Check the rear drop outs are correctly lined up. (Your LBS should have the correct alinement tools)
Normally axels only break or bend if the drop outs are out of line.
