Back home after 10 years!!! RC200 F4 "The Brit Build"

Getting down to the final parts needed....

Shimano cables in silver grey with some nice anodised housing ferrules.....Slightly not happy as the blue is a touch lighter than the other blue....mmm..do i go ocd and take them to get re-anodised🤔

Managed to source a decent controltech stem in silver so i can at least have this complete within the next 3 weeks. Will still try and find an X-lite or Pace stem to finish it off.... 1000004563.jpg

Surely that build needs a red pace renthal RC130 bar??? (Or blue maybe)

What this one?

That I could maybe be persuaded to part with. I wasnt actively or even considering selling but think they were produced later than the bars and other early pace products so were never something I longed for. Though admittedly I do look and see if can find a good value rc200 every so often.

Love that frame colour!!
Getting there, just need some 90’s red deep v hope hub wheels, some nice cranks, and some orange wheels. (Got the orange grip shift rubbers) then maybe some wee bits like nicer brake levers and reckon I am close to done. Owned it since new in 95

Lovely. I have some faded red hope Hubed wheels with ceramic rims and also a nice Curve crank/rings I could sell. Neither mint though, but also not ruff either.

Oh and some curve brake levers as well!
PM’d to take off someone else’s thread :)

After a few hectic weeks with my dad passing away followed by a viral/chest infection and generaly feeling crap....this week i've been in overdrive to get this built in time to take to the malverns on saturday.
Thanks to @danson67 for an amazing 4 day turnaround on a pace stem/steerer combo that looks awesome...
Took a trip over to my old xc race team sponsor..Royce Uk...to see Cliff who had specially made a 113mm titanium bb as he hadn't any left in stock. Nice to have a catch up whilst he fitted the bb for me...and even better to get it 50% off👍
Trip to platers for a super quick 24hr service to chrome plate said stem..
Today, finished fitting all the parts with just the cabling up job to do tomorrow...My boy said its the best bike he has ever seen and we are going to win the show n shine comp on sunday😂😂...It's definately a cracker and worked out is 59% uk produced parts.

And....i think i'll leave any pics til the weekend!!!!
