Yes I’ve had several bits done in cerakote. Definitely an option for sure as the silver doesn’t work for me.

Cool. Yep seen your XTR crank thread! Very interesting and frustrating for you. Others are certainly going to benefit from your journey regarding getting these cranks refinished to a durable factory-esq finish!

I’ve seen quite a few painted black. I suspect it was done aftermarket like what I’m considering doing.
