I'm into my retro cars. Mostly VW.

Yep, like most of us it seems I don't like modern cars, these are daily drivers for me and mrs (guess which one is mine and which is hers!) 1992 Pajero and 1997 Barchetta:

Also really like old clocks and watches, I've got a modest collection of very nice pocket watches and I've just bought a couple of 60s/70s era soviet mechanical watches. Don't know why but they really fascinate me. And I've got an old typewriter sitting as a display piece in my front room.

The way everything is disposable these days saddens me - I like things that have been well made, that someone's taken some pride in and are built to last.

I have vintage console HiFis and a 1962 Lambretta

I'm using a 'Retro' computer which is a bit crap mainly because I spent all my money on old bikes...

Havent seen the retro furniture lovers over here. Have some nice Eames furniture around. Also very keen on the retro lights like the ph5 from Poul Henningson.

And a retro Philps radio wich my grandpa bought new late 60's. Have had it restored last year and it's so nice!

For a few years I had a BMW R75/5 motorbike. Fully restored but had to sell it for some funds. Luckely my dad bought it.....:)

Will post some pic's later this week.

Oh, and mostly wearing the oldskool Adidas shirts and only wearing the black leather Adidas sneakers with white stripes.

cheers,
Martin

I was hoping there where some fellow retro furniture lovers on here!! I like the designs of the 60's & 70's especially the Radical design & anti design, It wasn't really popular here in the UK , especially up north & in Hull, although there was a company called Hull Traders who made furniture out of cardboard.
picture of Ingo Maurer for M Design designed in 1968 & a collection of Kartell "Gancio" coat rack, design by Olaf Von Bohr in 1971.

I think I can say I am a real retro man. I always had old american cars, from begin 60's and now a 1988 GMC Van Starcraft conversion (good for the holidays and the MTB weekends!). I also have a lot of vintage audio stuff. My house is from the 30's and I had a lot of 60's american furniture (and kitchen appliances). I even have a small Super soaker collection. Heck, even my wife is 10 years older, if that is not super retro.....

I collect loads of old stuff and love old stuff so great to see you've all got some good tastes of keeping old stuff loved up!

Mostly cars, and bikes but hells, I got old 80's computers and consoles, VHS and all kinds of stuff, just you can't 'collect' everything! Theres not a lot actually modern in my life apart from the phone I guess!

Most of the cars are currently in bits! :D heres a few
