If we're going leftfield then how's about my Roberts. Totally rebuilt to resemble a 30's North Road racer. Strip down and respray included chroming the drop outs on the forks and frame, having Gil_m create some decals in the style of Hetchins, hand polishing an Answer rocker seatpost to look like an early Campa record.
