Anyone know what frame this is please? I just bought it.

I have just bought the below muddyfox frame, it looks like a good old one, before they went to the wall. The shock is not what it came with (fox alps) but has been lost. I have a 1999 fox Float RC to go in there. I have found the picture below on PB which looks to be the same but mine is rim brake only.

Any thoughts on it, what model/age etc?

I am going to be using it for XC with 100mm forks and other kit from 1997-2000

They were a generic Asian mass produced frame
Many were sold with various paint and names, I had one from Supergo (a mail order company from the USA)

They are fairly light, but quite prone to cracking under the downtube/headtube junction

Ahh right ok, i was unsure if it was an asian jobbie as i found it hard to find another picture of one. Hopefully it wont die on me. I thought it was quite an attractive frame, that had some older muddyfox heritage to it. I was going to buy a similar cromo one, with a slightly different rocker, but missed it. Oh well, hopefully it wont break on me!
