Anyone know about Thorns?

I'm rather tempted to pick this up but I wanted to check here first...

Its badged as an "Audax" however I cant seem to find anything online to suggest that an Audax exists in 26". Maybe I'm wrong?

Also looks to be fillet brazed. A real bargain with that parts shown...

Contacted the seller but no response as of yet.

Yep. Had quite a few of them in my time.

Yes they did and still do make an Audax model.

This one is quite a good spec. Yes there are 26" and 700c versions of the same bike.

Quite a good price but I'd want it for nearer the £300 mark.

Don't concern yourself too much with corrosion around the head tube badge. They all go there eventually. They've gone away from this chromed effect badge and now tend to use transfers.

Good, solid and dependable bike. Rides much nicer with a load front and rear.

That looks a bit heavy duty even for a Thorn Audax and I'm no expert but did they ever make an Audax with canti/V bosses?
Also, did they ever use uni-crown forks?
