Anyone in contact with RAFbikes?

Don't be too hard on yourself Staf, mate. I've been through some rough times myself over the past couple of years and things can get away from you really easily; can suddenly find yourself in a dark place thinking, 'how the f' did I get here?' From the sound of things you've done well to tough it out this far and I'm sure you'll start to get things turning around now.

From what I've read on this thread I don't think anyone's too worried about their parts, now they know you're OK. Keep your chin up and don't let the bastards grind you down, as my dad always says.

One foot in front of the other, buddy...you'll be up and running again in no time, we'll all vouch for you 'round here...

I resigned myself to the fact it had to go so I listed it for sale had people clambering over themselves to buy it and offering me more than I'd listed it for to sell it to them, I finally had a chance to turn things around but the day before the car is to be collected the head gasket goes! The car is now virtually worthless so no point selling it and I'm stuck.

Sorry to hear your tales of woe.

If you are not too far away, i can help you with this, got the tools, torque wrench etc assuming head and block dont need a skim and bolts can be reused, we can get it done in a couple of hours, hell ill even buy the gasket and gtx for ya.

PM me, im near watford in herts.

Thanks for the offer dude, I think it's a bit of a specialist job from what I know I've got a good mate who works at toyota and he recons that even at mates rates it's a grand or so as the job will take at least a couple of days it's a GT-Four ST205 and you'vegot to take everything out to work on it as they shoe horn so much into the engine bay that there's no room to do anything.

What do you think?

Staf.
