Kidding on Jimo, props blud. If i was that far off the ground on my bike, something would have gone wrong somewhere along the way!

today i did ...........thourough cleaning and re orgaising of computer room


oh and also placed an order for my new man cave......to help me fettle the marin

man cave will be 14' x 8' apex sides starting a 6' taper to 7'6" to accomodate my 6'8" self.....



ahh my old man cave will be no more in 5 weeks. tis only 6x8 and crammed to the rafters with fishing tackle, golf clubs bags, trolleys and equipment, over stacked work bench with fook all room to build a matchbox car on it .....

For commuting/ tarmac I can highly recommend Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, not light, but absolutely bulletproof.
 
they look like good grippy robust tyres, pretty much exactly what i need for my ambition of commuting right through winter... sadly the kinesis gran fondo, as much as I love it has a few short falls, one being that once you put mudguards on it, even narrow mudguards, you can only run 23c tyres
 
What about the crud road racer guards? Have you tried them? Though even if they gave a bit more space you would still be limited to 25s I suppose.
