And today I did......

Done!

I'm still knackered from rugby yesterday so all I've done is a wee ride around the block. It's an odd beast, quite a big frame for 24" wheels so it's quite long and low. I'm still not sure exactly what it's "for" but it feels like great fun. Reckon it'll be a hoot on the red and blue at GT.

And the best thing is it's all been funded from sales of spares. No cash outlay and i've ended up with £20 in my paypal. :D

miniKen is out the hospital - he'll be off school for a bit yet but it looks like the worst is over. All being well I should make next sunday but as I'm still not "right" don't know how much riding I'll manage.

Now I've just arrived at work with a week of catch up to do by tomorrow :)

F1 that Si mentions is about new tech, it'd be ruddy boring if we were still watching steel built F1 cars.

I take it you've never been to a historic race meeting then Velo? Those old F1 cars are ten times more entertaining than the modern crop. For a start they sound amazing, look different from each other and most importantly, without the modern aero and grip levels they are sliding all over the place. Four or Five cars all drifting on opposite lock into a corner is a sight to behold.

Oldshool, in this case, really is better!

That's true, I still remember a historic F1 race I went to as a kid. The noise was incredible but the most vivid memory I have is the smell. Modern racedays just don't smell like that.
