well i went into the bike station today for roadbike bits , never found anything until velo arrived and pulled a 105 braze on mech out of the mech drawer :shock: £2 later it was mine

he also handed over a huge bag of roadbike bits to me for my focus


so i just need...........

wheels (kaiser has some for me)

bars (spotted some on ebay)

stem (might just use a mtb stem)

chain

seat

and cables

Eck, if I'd known you'd have got the drop bars aswell, still can infact and some cheap tyres

You cant use a mtb stem as roadbikes use different diameters to mtb unless its really modern. Older roadbikes use 26 mm clamps not 25.4mm.
I think modern oversize though is the same for mtb and road though :?
