And today I did......

Not long back Velo, if I'd had my rack I would have been more than happy to give you a lift but I can only fit one bike in my car as it isn't a hatchback. Next time.

Today from the stroke of midnight plus a few seconds I went into a deep decline. After weeks of build up I wasn't going to get to Pitlochry. Dave had just texted me to say he was not going due to squirting brake fluid into his eye thus bang went my transport. No back up plan had been prepared,,,,,,,,BUGGER :( :( :( :(

My car was not yet fixed and it was/is not designed for long journeys, its a town car. My scoot can do the distance but in this cold weather I cannot and finally the train does not run that early on a Sunday.

I am seriously gutted, depressed and angry although at what I dont know as its not Dave's fault.

I hope everyone had a good day which compared to mine would not have been difficult !

Sorry you and Dave could'nt make it Velo, missed a good one :(

today i went for a bicycle ride with my mates
it was good fun

Just bought a new frame for the Camo Klunker :)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BANKRUPT-26-WHL-A ... 588bf01794

Planned on rebuilding the bike to make it more useable, been looking for a frame for a wee while, would have liked a steel frame (like a Kona cruiser) but aint been able to find one, got the frame i have from the guy above, he's had 20" ones for a while but went for a 16" when i spotted them for sale again, this will be slightly more compact and chuckable than the 18" i have.

Needed a new frame as i want to fit gears, rear V brake and i chopped all the cable stops and mech hanger off when i built it, going to do away with the coaster brake, fit a V-brake on the rear, will use another huge motorcycle lever for the rear brake (dont know how this will work but even if it's shite it should be miles better than the coaster), colour is undecided but it wont be camo anymore, fancy a hard as nails satin black, fake rust/patina'd, rat look bomber at the moment :)

This means i will probably need to pass on the Dale frame Gazz :( , after some thought last night i realised i would have spent a fotune on it as i done have any parts in stock for the build
