And today I did......

This is probably going to sound incredibley dumb, but how much lighter is a carbon fibre frame? I've just bought a carbon fibre seatpost and the weight of it and a titanium Flite saddle is almost unbelievably light. I would imagine they would have to bulk up the carbon fibre quite a bit around the bottom bracket, heatube etc.

yup far too small

any midgets want a clockwork?

I don't know about midgets but that looks about my size and I'm 5'7".

Yeah, i'm 5'7" and ride a 17" steel frame, 15.5 or 16" if it's alloy.

Could maybe stretch to an 18" steel frame, especially if it's Gazz's Salsa :)

Got one of these :)

cool panda

what size is your orange ?

19" that one is :p and yes some will say its too small for me, but i like it. Same one I had at Dunkeld. Only a pain in the neck on long road rides - so I don't use it on long road rides :D

I think your blue one is just suffering too much clutter at the front - and its not a very good colour. Although if you change the graphics for black that would help IMHO. God I'm becoming a parka

you should swap it for my 17" one m8
at least one of would have the right size bike then :D

Today I had a play with some of these

Pretty light  Hold your fingers an inch apart and rotate like your adjusting the volume on the stereo , the hubs are smoother than doing that

This too

While that 8k custom build was in the stand opposite me I was screwing one of these together

http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/produ ... 060/215685

Quick google price check and that one was 2k . I've probably had my hands on about 15k worth of toys today alone

Luckily my car runs on no diesel at all , as I have no money until next week . Would quite like a sandwich but don't think buying bread is worth the overdraft

I decided as since the weather was too rotten to go for a ride on my day off I'd build a bike quickly since my spare parts box is getting a bit better populated. So a towpath special resulted, single speed, back brake only and so scabby no self respecting thief would go near it.

I think 42-16 might be a bit handy for training :D
