Ha, I sneaked a bike in today while my usually hyper alert wife was having a snooze (she's on holiday). It's an Andre Bertin with Nervex Pro lugs.
Hoping to relive my youth. Here with my Andre Bertin about 1961. Did some substantial rides with it.
First job, get rid of that nasty handlebar tape and put some proper cloth tape on. Next job, de nutting it - remove derailleur.
Got almost all the bits needed to exactly replicate my original, even an Ideale saddle with lace hole perforations. Don't think I can manage Inverness to Carlisle in a day now though.

Today being sunny an all I decided to go out on the road bike and try out the Strava thang, didn't fcuking work, I endured 30'ish miles of heat and killer hills. And to top it off I had a bit of a "turn" at a coffee stop, scared the shit oot 'o' me :facepalm:
