You know when you start a (seemingly) small job and it somehow grows into a full-on task? :?
Started to fix the broken hinge on the double gates at the back of the house, ended up rebuilding half the gates, replacing bits of damaged wood, moving the bolts, then rounded it off by repainting them ! :facepalm:
By the time I got round to opening a beer and firing up the barbecue it was almost dark
