And today I did......

A hol on the Isle or business ?
Im also about to maybe visit Skye, I'll need to check this boat out if im to buy it. Or no :?

Lovely place is Skye. Went with macretro a couple of years back though decided not to go on the ride with them and cycled to Portree itself.
My run to portree was interesting in that on the main road they pass within 3' at 90mph, which is a bit off putting if youre more used to city traffic.
The rest of the groups experience was also fraught

a wee trip to the family homeland, generally find it a good place to ride dyna... Tho the stretch from the bridge to the sligachan can be a bit busy during the coming tourist season

I'm gonna have a little tentative spin on a bike today, some thing with flat peddles.

Went out on the S/S for about 25-30 minutes on road and avoided any hills (for now).
Up right riding position and wide'ish bars, can feel it a little across my chest.

Its a start :?

I suppose the default position for us is to urge caution because we're worried (aye, right) he'll overdo it but the sooner you get back to being active after injury or in Rob's case major  surgery, the better.
It's all right for those folk that don't do much but active oldies :P like Rob, need to keep going, to make sure you can keep going. There's feckin loads of folk way younger than me and Rob that are going to be, ARE, old before their time because they do eff all exercise.

And naw, he's no gonnae listen tae a word we say.

Well im just thinkin' that ive sawn through ten thousand sternums and theres no way youre going to convince me thats a solid mass again this soon.
That type of thing i imagine will take months to knit together to the point it is stronger than before.

You do what the doctor told you and sit on your proverbial arse. Which in layman's terms means that you sit on arse and do what youre told.
Im more than sure they agreed with you about light exercise, but im damn sure they have different concepts to what you take that as.
