Aye your right, its just that there seems to be a glut of tapered after market forks for sale all heavily discounted YET the magazines lead us to believe tapered is the way to go, I mean second hand tapered forks are a bit slow at selling. Just a observation really.

Are you maybe seeing OEM forks Rob? Some vendors are selling way below RRP, because they are speccing the fork one one of their builds. The knock on is that people are less inclined to buy second hand when you can get new so cheap.

Round 1 of the Scottish Enduro series at Dunkeld, I bought a Giant Reign last year with the idea of doing some more enduros. I'm not entirely sure that it was such a good idea noo, feeling woefully under prepared.

You'll be fine, I did the "Enduro Lite" at Glenlivet last year, I just turned up on the Sunday morning and rode, no practice, no game plan, no idea really
Enjoyed it though, may well do Glenlivet & Laggan this year, although the entry price makes me cry, gone are the days of paying £5 to race

Rob your a healthy specimen, how long till yir back on the bike?

I've had my sternum cut and it takes 6 to 8 weeks to heal, I'm just into week 5 now.
I don't see the surgeon again till the 10th May close monitoring NOT!

I'll also need to check when I can start driving, or I should say double check as I've got
a good idea how long that should be.

I'm really worried about falling over or falling off just now with the sternum thing :?
