And today I did......

You should shove it on Gumtree, someone might pay you a fair bit more than the miserable scrap value. Or just leave it to rust at the back of your gaff. It's the Caithness way!

Took the processor board out of my laptop and replaced it with one 50% faster.

How long did you take to remove the old one? I usually take longer putting things in than taking them out. Certainly never manage to get it in anywhere near 50% faster.

I started hunting for bits and bobs for converting the 'new' van.

Forgot how involved it all is, and I have a deadline of July as I have promised a loan of it to family.

Curtains/blinds first, then sofa, kitchen unit, stove and chimney. Solar and wind setup, small water tanks, rainwater collection for shower/toilet and such, awning and roof racking kayaks and bikes. Lots to think on, as not a huge van and space soon gets swallowed up.

Re:

Changing the subject for a minute.
I'm getting out every day now for a walk, 1.5 mile minimum I have done 4.
I'm supposed to be doing 10 minutes walk once a day by week 3 this is week 4.
I don't think this takes into account for somebody with a reasonable fitness base at the start.

Well I'm feeling quite pleased with my self, I walked a big loop to the sorting office (yeah I'm still buying) and clocked up between 3 & 4 miles (slowly) that's the furthest I've walked by a long chalk since I got out of hospital.

Yes it does. It's the injury/op/trauma repair and recovery it's designed for not your fitness level. Behave yourself.

How come your selling the mojo clubby?

Rob's pretty much right. Don't feel comfy on it anymore.
It feels quite short compared to my Saffron (made to measure). Can't ride it now without feeling like I'm going to go over the bars all the time. Was on the cusp of med/large when I bought it. Demo'd a med and it felt fine at the time but prob should have got a large. So it's that and the fact that I'm not riding the same stuff I did before the crash. Don't really need a 160mm full sus anymore. Time to move it on.

Re:

The Mojo is a cracking bike, such a pity to get rid of. Wasn't Ibis along with Santa Cruz still building bikes with comparatively short top tubes? Went against the fashion but was always reported as working very well. I take it you wouldn't fancy a rebuild in its 140 guise as a all day bike?

Thought about it but doesn't change actual fit of the bike, which I think is part of my issues. Comparing it to a modern trail bike it's 2" shorter in reach and 3" in the wheelbase. A longer stem would solve part of this but also tip the weight balance even further forward in steep stuff. I expect at lot of it is just in my head, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.
Funny you mention Santa Cruz. They've updated their models this year to longer bikes.

Re:

Ach well sounds like its fate is sealed. Can just be heart braking trying to sell as no one wants to spend that kinda dough on 26. I must admit I'm sold on long fronts for steep stuff, if for nothing else than the confidence it gives for exactly like what you mention.
