And today I did......

He'd arranged for a pal to follow along in his truck...

Well I'm feeling quite pleased with my self, I walked a big loop to the sorting office (yeah I'm still buying) and clocked up between 3 & 4 miles (slowly) that's the furthest I've walked by a long chalk since I got out of hospital.
Good effort Rob, glad you're on the mend and getting out and about. Nothing like a little bike related retail therapy to lift the mood too

After getting rid of one frameset in an effort to downsize I've just bought another today, didn't last long!

Indeed, a little retail paroozing is a good thing but really dont over do it.
Its supposed to be rest you get and although you feel fine there is a lot still to heal etc so just stop and sit down.
Rest is really important  and i'd know all about sitting on my arse

Down at Pitmedden today for first time his year. Trails running quite nicely, still muddy in places but it was pretty frozen, so actually rode well. Recent storms have closed off some trails, but someone's been in with a chainsaw and opened up some that have been blocked since last summer.
Winter lack of fitness still showing and also struggling to re-bond with Ibis after it tried to kill me. Feeling very short and tall compared to my hard tail, and was struggling on steep stuff I rode last year no bother. Kept feeling like I was tipping over the front. Probably just all in my mind or a case of nubikitis, but still not a comfy feeling.
