You've not met Rob and OCP have you THM?

It's a bit more like this, with more hair on one of them and less on the other!

And today I did...

Got bored shitless and fixed two wheels. Took the Uniglide off one and replaced it with a freehub off an STX hub. It wasnt built up so had to drill a hole and bash a screw driver through so I could get decent leverage. I now have a lovely MT-60 wheel with QR and 7spd. Will do the front hub with a qr axle later.

Next up was possibly the last decent thing I got from the tip - a set of red label Mavic GL-330 on Campagnolo hubs but weirdly without axles. Bought a replacement rear from here and found some cones in me box of bits plus another hub for the axle on the front and hey presto, I have a decent set of Tubular Campagnolo road wheels.

Carry on...

jeezo where are these skips you frequent, ever time I check out my local refuge centre it's a choice between an appalling apollo and a peppa pig bike

spent 90 mins clearing some nasty rim tape adhesive residue of a set of wheels to prep them for tubeless tape...saturday nights used to be better than this... even led zeppelin are looking like they're 105 years old

Today today today :?

Gone Carbon :D

Well, only the forks with a purchase of a White Bros rock solid 445mm fork :D

Been a while since ive ridden carbon so looking forward to it. Drops front end fork weight from 1600 gms down to 730grms, which i was just thinking felt a bit heavy and unbalanced compared to the back.
