Yesterday I got a appointment for a pre-op assessment but I'm attending the Vic on that date already.
So I phones the RI to ask if the date can be changed and the woman on the phone blurbs out that she
has me down for the 16th for my op, I've had no letter mentioning this

Well today after a long long wait I accidentaly stumbled across the date for my heart op, 16th of December.
I have mixed emotions about it :?

If it's any help. my sister and also my eldest son have had heart surgery. They both reckon you feel bloody wonderful almost immediately (apart from the actual cut bits).

Re:

Aye your right John, no much :?

And Brian I'm hoping that'll be the case as the last 6 months I've been feeling it's effects :?

You'll be fine mate, I know it :)
We'll all be thinking of you and you will be back to your old self pretty quick.
next spring you will have to get up this way or at least head to brains way so we can get you on some good rides.

Jamie

Made my own gin today at Edinburgh Gin. Went for a spicy blend with pink pepper and cassia and called it Peddlers Potion.
Also got to try the entire range. Both stotted out of the place steaming at 2.30!
