Made my own gin today at Edinburgh Gin. Went for a spicy blend with pink pepper and cassia and called it Peddlers Potion.
Also got to try the entire range. Both stotted out of the place steaming at 2.30!

I thought about buying a bike today
A new one at that. First new bike since 1996, so must be overdue.

Tweaked Brooks saddle on road bike after another numb nads ride yesterday (near blown into sea riding home after dropping truck in for MOT).

Then spent a merry couple of hours fettling two ebay pressure lamps for the power cuts (two so far this year). Always liked these things - remind me of days off school in the ’70s power cuts. This evening while trying to figure out required fixes I discovered that there is a web site for retro-lamp fanciers. Good lord, who’d have thought? A load of mad Luddites in sheds messing with obsolete technology. Must ensure this does not go too far.....

Love those lamps use them in the scouts as a kid but i was always convinced there were going to blow up at any moment
