I think I should be all right for forks thanks.

Todays problem is an apparent incompatability between Magura is mount calipers and Hope 5 bolt rotors. Even with countersunk disc bolts, the bolts are catching on the calipers!

More then welcome to them M8. Bout time a little karma headed out. Noting to do with fate and my premium bonds
Just postage for a forks always high. Unless A.Youre heading to glasgow.B.know someone going to glasgow.C.know someone in glasgow heading over to you or d.happy to pay postage at cost

Now off to see what that pair new blue ti glide/sus disc 32h went for :?
Was £122 when i left it with 2 hours left. If it finished at that im going to be devastated. Would have been quite a coup for my new bits collection.

Update-
Which it did.

Nothing ruins a ride quite like a loose bush

Nae bikes I'm afraid. No new ones ever again going by the price of the trip! Well worth it though. Talked about it for years and never done it, this is the perfect excuse.

Epicyclo, you forget I'm used to cycling with Rob and OCP.

Re:

Today I put a new AHeadset on my old Carrera Krakatoa circa 1992. Thought I'd build this for Aviemore with an 80mm sus fork added so I'll be a bit retro but a bit bouncy and ready for a trail centre at Laggan. I put the headset cups in back to front, the bottom one in the top, the top one in the bottom and then wondered why I couldnt eliminate the slack when I tightened the compression bolt
You'd think after 20 plus years mtb'ing i'd know something about bikes by now !!!!!
