Nice work Paul, are you going to soften the edges or keep them clean?

Not sure what it will be like up Dunkeld, didn't get a recce this year, tempted to put on the spikes on the Xizang just in case, although mud might be more prevalent - the fat is itching for a ride too. Has anyone driven pask Dunkeld in the last week? is there snow on the hills there?

Been to-ing and fro-ing. Snow variable from approx 500ft but mainly west of Perth.

travelled down the A9 last weekend, plenty of snow at Dalwhinnie but can't remember any after house of braur. webcam of the river is show's it's certainly alot lower than it was last year

I'm sure the track will be fine, it's largely hard packed landrover track anyway

Thanks for the kudos,
Need to taper where the spring goes and slot for cables, after that maybe just give them a nice going over with 500 finished to 1000 grit. After having broken and bent these in the past and upgrading all bikes to linear felt this was something to tool around with over the duldrums of winter. Next is to find decent replacement grips.

Got pished on this morning while out on the bike again. Suppose it's good practice for Sunday.
This afternoon I dropped off my retro video games and walked away with a pocket full of cash. Still a box of Amiga games they didn't want but found a place in Brighton offering good money. Didn't want the hassle of postage but at least it's only one box and not the eight I started off with.

sounds good, a picture of that craftsmanship would be nice :D
Thought I should add what the original looks like in picture compared to the replacements.
