Don't underestimate the ease that those tools allow, otherwise it can turn into a fiddly mess that turns a 2minute bleed into a faffy 30minute episode :)

First time round it's costing me almost as much to bleed the as buy them! Will be handy for both bike I suppose.

Is there anything else obvious I need before I place the order with crc? Olives, oil, inserts,(BH90) bleed kit inc funnel...........cuddly toy, fondue set, canteen of cutlery, his and hers matching, dressing gowns,

That's why i went for avid cable disc setup!

100ml of oil a tenner. 1 litre £16. Any body need some? Might have a bit to spare!

You shouldn't need to bleed the brakes. I managed to trim mine and then thread them through my frame and reattach them without losing a drop. In fact you never need to bleed them its cheaper to replace them if you take into account the new pads they come with :)

I wouldn't quite go that far. Bleed kit inc olive bits and a litre of oil has cost me £40. Brakes were £115 new
